The Power Of A Quarterly Plan! It’s the first week of April. Can you believe it? Has time been passing quickly for you or slowly?
I know for me, it has been going by quickly. But the chore list has been getting done! Books are being read! Lol, and I’m baking. 🙂 The girls were surprised I knew how, so much time in the kitchen…. Lol and I’m not burning stuff!
With the beginning of April, that means the first quarter of 2020 is over and a new one is begun. I hope we all have taken a moment to reflect on some amazing things that we have accomplished in the last quarter.
I would love to help celebrate some of them with you. Feel free to comment, or message me with some. In all that’s going on, finding a reason to celebrate is needed. For me, I got my Commercial Licence, I lost 15 lbs, I have been able to build deep roots with my family through all this. I am so grateful for the time together.
I have had lots of conversations with people over planning and what are the best timelines for goals. I was a member of ProCoach International (TM) with Andrew Barber-Starky for years, and with his coaching he was a major advocate for the quarter plan. 3 year Intentions with quarterly plans.
Quarterly plans are structured enough that you can implement and three years is far enough that you can change them.
Do you have any plans for what you want your next quarter to look like? I know so much is changing every day. With that it might be a chance to do some clean ups and completions around your house. I know for me, home schooling the kids is a top priority. Making sure that they are able to stay on top of the virtual meetups with friends and teachers.
Making sure we still get outside time, laughter and movement. What do you have as a priority from now till the end of June? Do you need someone to hold you accountable to getting the closets cleaned out? Don’t hesitate to reach out if I can help you or be of service to you.
If you are one of the ones who are able to stay home and have lots of time, is there a project or a skill that you always wanted to do or learn? I know for me I have always wanted to wake up early and have some time to myself.
The Golden Hour… Well it has been 2 weeks now and I can say that I think that I wanted to want it.
That it wasn’t me, it wasn’t Tarah. It was what I thought I wanted. I do hope that you are able to have some self revelations over this time. To come out on the other side with a clearer understanding of who you are.
With a new skill, a new business, a new hope or plan for what you want your future to be.
